This pisses me off!!

Brett Favre has played in two Super Bowls, and he led four teams in Green Bay that had 12 or 13 victories.

But after reaching 5-0 for the first time in his career Sunday, Favre suggested the 2009 Vikings may be truly special.

"I think physically and from a talent standpoint, this is the best team I've ever been on," said Favre, who completed 18 of 24 passes for 232 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. "I said from Day One it's all how it shakes out. You have to have a little luck. The injury bug is always a factor for everyone."

Favre acknowledged earlier in his press conference that "it's not how you start but how you finish."

But, he said the Vikings performance in a 38-10 victory over the previously winless St. Louis Rams was "average" compared to the team's other four games.

"We won that game today but we did not play our best football," he said .

"There's tremendous potential, but that alone will not win games for you."

Favre once again noted that he is as surprised as anyone to still be playing at 40 (his birthday was Saturday).

"God has been good to me, and I'm thankful for the opportunity," he said.

Favre called his interception -- his second of the season -- a "terrible play on my part."

Early in the second quarter, Favre forced a pass to receiver Bernard Berrian. The ball was easily picked off by Rams rookie linebacker James Laurinaitis.

"That's the plays that I can't make, first of all," Favre said.

Rodgers

So is it just me, or does Aaron Rodgers have an addiction to footballs. What I mean is, he does not seem to be able to live without one IN his hands. Come on dude, throw it already. Everyone keeps saying that the problem is the offensive line. Yes, they do need to improve the line, but Aaron can give them a little help by simply getting rid of the ball.

Dbag

Well.  Brett is in the books at the first player to beat every team in the NFL.  Okay, big deal...the Vikings still need to invade the Pack to get good talent.

Half and Half

Well, looks like the poll results show that half of you still love Brett and the other half could care less...

My gut feeling is that he will be in a Queens uniform before the season starts. Either way, this is the last posting that will have to do with Brett. All current Packer blogs from now on.

GO PACK!!!!
